Model it from elements (slabs, walls, roofs, etc.) or use a purpose made object.&lt;BR /&gt;
I don't use the default Archicad library but I am sure there are some in there (in "External Fixtures" I think - or you can search your library by keyword to find them).&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>You used to be able to but they never looked to great because they lacked contours. Select the S/E open the settings and go to model effects and check Vectorial Sun Shadows</description>

Do you mean can you show shadows on your elevation?&lt;BR /&gt;
Yes - as Jeffrey said go into the section/elevation line settings.&lt;BR /&gt;
You can have a "Custom" shadow on each elevation or you can have the "real" shadow as set by the sun position in the 3D widow settings.&lt;BR /&gt;
