<R>Hello!

I am new in Archicad.. I was wondering, how do I create a balcony in this program? Where do I get the frames, fences, and these elements?

Will be waiting for useful replies

Thank you</R>

Balcony elements are "Objects".

Look for "Rail" and "Wire Balcony" under the search function in the object dialog.

You also may find it easier to model exactly what you want with profiled beams, walls and columns and/or the morph tool depending on the details. If you have multiple repeating instances you can save it as a module which will update to changes in the original.

Mind you, library parts are great if they are close enough to what you want. I tend to be fussy.

Yes, indeed! A beginner should closely study the "Complex Profile" function for its ability to create horizontal extrusions using the wall tool and sloping extrusions using the beam tool.

Most of Archicad isn't about sticking fancy things on a box, but in carefully fashioning our own concepts. But the fancy things work most of the time and are quicker if you aren't picky.
