Thanks for the workaround! I do think it is a shame that Graphisoft can't even provide the most basic and highly flexible elements. All this talk about BIM but no thoroughness on the basics...</description>

      <title>TS2x5 Column</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;My design calls for a TS2x5 column as a substructure for metal mesh. I am angling it outward from the base. I can't use the TS column object because it does not allow splaying. I have to use the complex column and choose TS. The problem is it is not allowing me to make the TS less than 8"x6".&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;

The reason the TS column cannot be made smaller than 8"x6" is that this is the size of the Complex Profile, and Complex Profiles can be larger, but not smaller, than their original size (in the Profile Manager).&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Two options:&lt;BR /&gt;
1. Edit the TS Steel Section in the Profile Manager to be the smallest size you want to use (I am not sure how this would effect already placed profiles)&lt;BR /&gt;
2. Create a new Complex Profile the smallest size you need&lt;BR /&gt;
