Not seeing dashed lines

What am I missing here ? I want to show opening in dashed lines. The preview window is showing the dashed lines but not on the drawing. Help please!

There are two possibilities.

The most likely is that you do not have the checkbox checked for Enable Object's Linetypes. See attached. This, like many such checkboxes either enables the settings you made in the Parameters section, or over-rides them.

The other possibility is that you have set the Model View Options to "Show Opening Only" and with Contours. This, too, over-rides the object line type.

I too, first thought this the case Karl.
Except by changing this parameter shows clearly the change in the preview window.

My first thought was that it was a scale issue?
