<T>We all hear of the new improvements made in 8.1 and some of you know about it.

Since the product is already out in some locations, could we ask Graphisoft to release a PDF summary of the new features.

A document similar to the "doors and windows" improvements would be great to get us to speed while we wait.
Working in 8.0 at the moment, which does exhibit this problem from time to time, not sure if I've had it in 8.1.
When this happens, click with your mouse in one of the coordinate boxes, then click on the plan again. Try the keys again. Works every time for me. (Credit is due to someone on the old Archi-Talk, but I don't remember who.)

This is probably just an issue with Mac OSX and Safari but I wanted to call attention to it. When I click on the 'Related Files' link on the US Tech Resources Page, nothing happens. I have to right click on the link, select "Copy link to clipboard", then go to the Finder and use "Connect to server" and paste the link to get to the FTP server. When I browse the FTP files, almost all of them will disappear as I select them. How do I get to the files?

I just tried this link and was delighted to see that in Mac OS 10.3 the ftp server mounts and behaves just like any other volume and I can browse it in the regular (and much improved) Finder window. VERY COOL.

i've never had any trouble with 'x', 'y', 'r' keystrokes not working: archiCAD 8.0.x with 10.2.x and archiCAD 8.1 with 10.2.x or 10.3.x.
john - could i ask what kind of "other problems" you are having with 10.3, so i can be on the lookout? thanks.
Ben
After updating to OSX10.3 I noticed that " save selection as a module"
doesn't have any checkboxes visible to "apply offset and rotations" ( which
when you click it remembered the name of the resaved module) and another check box (which I cant remember what it was called)

I had just started using modules and not having that feature now makes it
harder to use.

Selecting text-the highlight disappears after the initial selection

I'm still on V8.0r3
Does 8.1 have these issues?

john

no problems with 'apply offset and rotation', or the other box, 'change hotlink to the saved file'. were you trying to save it to a place that you didn't have write permission?

no problems either with selecting text - sounds like it could be an openGL graphics card thing? are you using openGL for 2D redraws? my origin 'hotspot' disappears occasionally although it still registers as 0,0 when i hover over it - again an openGL thing i think . . .
John,

This all sounds to me like a video driver/OpenGL implementation problem. Try to find a newer driver/disable OpenGL and check.
