Thanks Stuart, but they are already checked. There seems to be something else causing trouble in this file. If I drag more than one view to a layout, they end up scattered all over the place.

I suspect there is a problem with the project origin...

<T>I am working on layouts, and have placed views on my presentation sheets. If I change settings, the view often moves outside the viewable area of the drawing. So far the only way I have been able to get it back has been to find it using the layout as a trace reference and manually dragging it back to the right place.

Does anyone know if there is a tool to centre view within an existing drawing frame?
Or do I just have to place the view again?

Thanks,</T>

Check the "Use Drawing's internal origin as anchor" and it will stay in the same place.
