That is interesting Aaron, your version must be special.
My ArchiCAD does not pick up Reno Status either when using Parameter Transfer with the syringe cursor shape.

So you say that you have an Existing Wall and a To be Demoed Wall, both are visible, Demo Wall shown with override, you ALT-click (or its Mac equivalent) the Demo Wall, CTRL-ALT-click the Existing Wall and that Wall switched to Demo Status, Floor PLan color overridden and all?

<T>I've discovered an annoying feature in the renovation tool. The CTR-Alt used to copy lines and properties does not apply to the Renovation tool. For example, I've got some lines selected as 'New' and I want others to match. CTR-Alt won't convert lines inadvertantly entered as 'Existing' into 'New'.</T>

Correct. The syringe does not pick up the Renovation status. It would be good if it did.

My syringe picks up reno status. Better drugs in mine, I guess. :- )

What's cumbersome is having to use the reno palette to establish defaults.

OK, thanks for reporting back on it.
To my knowledge, Parameter Transfer not picking up Reno Filter status is the expected behavior.

What is a different question and what would be interesting to find out is whether this is good this way or not.
I can see value in Parameter Transfer being able to transfer Reno Filter Satus as well.

I see no reason why the syringe should NOT work in the Renovation Tools. Can you give me any?

I don't see any reason either but that is currently the case.
I think it would be a good addition to Favorites settings to be able to define whether Reno Filter status goes through or not.

The reason I wrote my previous answer this way is because I did not want to influence others with my personal opinion, but since now you asked, I am stating that in my opinion it would indeed be a useful option.
