<R>Hello,

I need to model a piece of exterior "standalone" wall with a complex caping profile. I am not highly acquainted with GDL modelling and cannot see how can I model this with "regular" AC objects.

Suggestions on how can I accomplish this are most welcome.

Please see attached DWG for object elevations.

Many thanks in advance and I apologize for posting an Autodesk non-BIM file. <E>🙂</E>

I am using AC13.

Hi Andro55

Many thanks for your help. How do I subtract the beam from the wall?
Take a look at OBJECTiVE. It will make this task very easy. I simply selected the shapes you drew, created an <S></S>Elevation<E></E> profile for it with <S></S>OBJECTiVE > Component > New Profile<E></E>. You can so this directly in an elevation view to draw it in situ. These profiles can also be bent to a curve (see image).
