Using Section Cut markers in detail drawings.

Is it possible for me to use a section marker in a detail drawing which is only 2d. The reason being is that I want the capability of automatic numbering/labeling for the section marker and its capability of linking to the layout sheet. Or, is there other options that I should explore? Thanks!

In AC11, yes -- prior to AC11, no. You'll have to place a 'Dummy Marker' (or 2D Object that looks like a Marker), but there won't be anything automatic about it.
