I usually double click the columns to fit to text width, and keep one column and row "frame" around the area I need ampty, at the row height. I then copy all including the "frame". I usually paste into PlotMaker, don't remember when I pasted into ArchiCAD, as Linked object.&lt;BR /&gt;

Mind you, these are normally tables. Yes, view should be in Normal.</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;i've been trying to copy and paste excel (general notes) onto plotmaker.&lt;BR /&gt;
i read the archiguide online for linked objects and i'm still not getting it.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
attached is a screen print of the results. i have turned off the grid and change the view from  page break ( blue solid and broken lines don't show) to normal in excel before copy and paste.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
but i still see the blue solid lines.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
please help.&lt;BR /&gt;

Did you save the file before copying?</description>
