That's true, especially with some stairs (I forget if it's only with ArchiStair stairs or all of them). That's why the "roof" work-around. It may be a bit more of a headache in your example, but it's probably the only way. Unless you use ArchiStair, which has an option to show a wall under the stair (left, right, or both sides).</description>

      <description>if I understand you correctly what you need to do is a draw a full height wall, then use SEO with upwards extrusion. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Edit -&amp;gt; Solid Element Operations&lt;BR /&gt;
Select the wall, hit Get Target Elements&lt;BR /&gt;
Select the stairs, hit Get Operator Elements&lt;BR /&gt;
Hit Execute&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>This is often a problem. &lt;BR /&gt;
The work around is to place a roof at the slope of the underside of the stair and then either SEO or use trim-with-roof.</description>

It's correct. I've used SEO but it didn't work. I'll show my result after use SEO...and I also try to use trim-with-roof, It's didn't too. &lt;BR /&gt;

I have discovered that when you use same target or operator element many times to make complex cuts it arise problem like that one.&lt;BR /&gt;
Have you used that wall and stair earlier, to trim something?&lt;BR /&gt;
Also I advise you to attach your stair object here. So will be easier to find any decision!</description>
