<T>Hello All,
I have to side a house with a "live edge" pine siding. How would you go about it? Try to make a surface look correct. Or model it with angles walls. Or a complex profile? hmmmmm. Any advice would be great.</T>

Very difficult to actually model it, if possible at all.

Unless you need close up photo quality renderings I would do it with a flat wall and assign a custom made fill of suitably wiggly lines to the surface (formerly "materials" in 16) for elevations. You could also have a texture map for Open GL views and simple (distant) renderings.
