<T>Ok im guessing that didnt make sense but i am completely new to archicad, up until now i have used autocad. Im trying to do something as basic as draw a line but having trouble with When trying to draw a line i want it to be straight and only change at 90 degress whereas now i cant get it to be completely straight becasue it could be off by a couple of degrees,if that made sense.
For example in autocad you can change the settings to draw a line at 90 degress 0 degress etc and if i wanted to draw a line at 23 degrees i could type 23 degrees but the set angle was 0. Can you do the same in archicad or do you have to manually set the angle to 0 degrees everytime you draw a line?</T>

As an Alternative, make sure Guide Lines are turned on.
Guide Lines will be displayed for you automatically for the most important angles like 0, 45, 90 degrees and so on. See Reference Guide for further details.
