Hi Dave,

Is Snap turned on in Layout Book?

As Snap is specific to Model / Layout Book, it can be on in one mode and off in another..

I have got your 'effect' to repeat on my own machine.... By design, rather than by accident tho

Thanks

<T>A PLN I've been working on suddenly went dead when I switched to a layout book view. I can't select a placed drawing nor use any tool. Switching back to a drawing view, everything works fine. Other PLN files work fine. Anybody experience this?</T>

Strange--Yes, turning the GRID SNAP off cured the "problem", however things were not acting like they should when the grid was on (standard arrow curser with grid node dots showing as curser gets within range). The curser was stuck as a checkmark and it was impossible to select a drawing even with QUICK SELECTION. Now things are working correctly even with grid snap on and I cannot reproduce the behavior. Anyway, good call Thank you!
