<R>I created something in Cinema 4D, but now I have to create similar project in ArchiCad 11.

It is a building of Opel based on its symbol

As you see I have there circle glass wall which is subtracted by box rotated in few degrees.

In ArchiCad I've made circle wall very simple, but I have very big problem to subtract it by any object.

I can't rotate ceiling or wall - I can only rotate in XY plane, no XZ or YZ to have something similar as you see in the picture.

Can anyone explain me how to do this?</R>

Lol, I forgot about this.
Anyway thanks.

But I have another question.
As you see in the previous picture after subtract this glass wall, there is rotated steel beam.

We have there 5 horizontal beams and 1 rotated.

Do you have any ideas how to make something like this in ArchiCad?
Cause I don't have an idea

You can use the roof tool again. Draw circular outlines in plan view, then use the magic wand. You could draw a circular roof, then subtract the interior opening, leaving a "ring" of roof.

Hey Richard.

I've searched about magic want, but now i'm doing something wrong.

From rectangle and circle I'm getting rectangle roof withou circle.

Can you explain me how can I get circle roof?

Now I'm doing:
- making rectangle roof
- making circle
- SHIFT click at roof
- SPACE click at circle

And as I said I'm getting rectangle roof without circle.

I'll be glad if you explain me

Sure. Draw a circle using arc/circle tool. Set your roof tool to "polygonal" roof. After you set the pivot line and slope direction, you can use the magic wand to create the circle roof. If you select the roof, then you can magic wand a circular hole in the roof using a slightly smaller circle. Hope those are easy instructions. It is almost faster to do this than to explain it.

Thank you very much, works perfectly.

I have the last question (I hope).

Image:

There are steel grids - do you know how can I do this?

If ArchiCad contains any objects of grids?

Cause I saw there are only beams.
