I have not tried to do this before, but perhaps you do not have your operator's included in the MOD file? Are they on a layer that is hidden when you save your MOD?

Hi Erich,
both operator and target are there, I think that subtraction command is not assigned and executed in the host file (talking about roof and wall).
Thanks.

I've not had any problems hotlinking multiple pln files into a master file with all solid element ops coming along with the file.

Did you use the 11 multistory hotlink method? If the walls are on one story and the roof(s) on another, and you linked each story one at a time in the pre-11 method, then the SEOp will not come across - no way for it to do so.

Your note about 'executed in the source file' may indicate a fundamental misunderstanding of hotlinks, or just ambiguous wording... The source file is not evaluated. Instead, its contents are merely brought into the host and evaluated there. If all contents relevant to the SEO are not brought in in the same linkage step (multistory hotlink if the elements are on different story), then the operator will not come across.
Thanks Karl,
You're right, I've been using old method, with multiple stories method everything works fine.
