You have a warning of "Some Selections are not Solid" if so they cannot show a cut fill.
Use the solidify command to see if it helps.

ok....well, attempted the "check solidity" and tried to "solidify" since the warning told me "some elements created in the morph were not solid"....and nuttin'
didn't cause the morph object to show it's "solid fill"

anybody got any other idears?

Do a simple morph next to the ones that are giving trouble to see if it shows to eliminate the cut plane or renovation status as possible culprits. If it shows then that might mean that the problematic morphs are not solid and you might need to redo them.

I was "definitely" told that the problem morph which was brought in from Sketchup, was NOT created as a "solid" rather some complex extrusion shape.

Hence why it is not allowing me to show it in "cut fill" inside the morph object.

So.....I'll have to see if the fellow who created it could go back and re-create the morph to be able to be brought back into AC as a "solid" rather than how he created it.

thanks sir...your assumption was accurate.

No problem. Some information that might help:

- SU does not create solids
- AC can convert SU's empty objects into Solid Morphs
- It is easier to convert small connected SU objects than to try to convert one HUGE one.

My recommendation is to simplify the SU object and to import into another AC file to check solidity and to verify before inserting into the new one.

Eduardo,
you stated that AC can create "solids" from an SU import?
how is this done?
does the SU object being imported need to be "simple"? you stated to try to make small chunks of the offending object in question.

See below what the shape we are trying to make "graphically appear" right in 2D plan looks like.

AC should "solidify" a SU object when you import it but to be sure this is the procedure that I follow.

then select "Convert to Morph" and once you open its settings this is what you are looking for. If it does not say "All selections are solid" then you will need to retry.
