<R>hi there im wanting to, for example: draw a slab shape in plan and tilt it up on one edge (X or Y) so it is in the vertical plane (Z)

is there an easier way around doing this than having to save the object as a .gsm object?
i find i usually rotate it to the wrong edge and have to repeat till i get it looking right, not always easy to tell top front back or side sometimes.

youd think youd be able to do this easily enough in the 3d window by now
pick an object you want to rotate around an axis, 'x'amount of degrees </R>

There are several ways to rotate stuff:
-Save an object in the axonometry at the right angle
-Doing some GDL script: ROTX degrees. (or make an own parameter)
-Use the rotator object from the object depository :object_depository
-Ralph Wessels Objective Encina (free for students)
-Or maybe in this case use a roof?
