Wall model surfaces override function composites archicad 17

Hi

Can any anyone work out why I'm missing the ability to turn off surfaces overrides in the model options for walls ? I want to display the composites with the correct building materials and there correct junctions, however as the walls are stuck with the override function on I'm not having much luck. It seems that the depression icon is missing ?

You currently have legacy mode turned on - therefore surfaces and junctions are behaving as per AC16.

To turn off legacy intersection methods, you need to go to the Project Preferences > Construction Elements.

Then the surface overrides and junctions will appear.

Just wanted to say thanks too, I couldn't fathom what it was that wouldn't let me change surface overrides and it was the Legacy option!
