The greek key can be done as a slab then saved as a custom library part, in the Help file see: Virtual Building &amp;gt; Parametric Objects &amp;gt; &lt;FONT color="blue"&gt;Graphic Creation of Custom Objects&lt;/FONT&gt;. Just one segment of the key could be modeled, and the library part copied for the extent of the facade. (The greek key could also be done as a complex profile, then applied with the Beam or Wall tool to the facade.)&lt;BR /&gt;

The pilasters could be done the same way, or by creating a complex profile and using the Column tool to apply it to the wall, in the Help file see: Virtual Building &amp;gt; Construction Elements &amp;gt; Place a Wall/Column/Beam with a Complex Profile &amp;gt; &lt;FONT color="blue"&gt;Creating or Editing a Complex Profile Element&lt;/FONT&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;

The figures could be done like the greek key as a custom library part, but modeled with the Mesh Tool for variable depth. You can place the photo in the plan view with the Figure or Drawing Tool, change the size of the photo to match the scale, then traced over the photo to get the outlines of the figures.&lt;BR /&gt;

So I'm pretty much a newbie this archicad business, and I have been getting along fine... Until I hit a brick wall!&lt;BR /&gt;

I've got a little stuck when it comes down to modelling pilasters and certain details within a wall. &lt;BR /&gt;

That's basically what I am trying to model.&lt;BR /&gt;

So if anybody has any advice on how to model the pilasters (mainly) and the figures at the top of said pilasters, and also, if you could be so kind the detail at the top of the building. Looks to be like a greek key...?&lt;BR /&gt;

Thanks in advance! I'm sure it is a relatively simple solution, but if anyone out there could point me in the right direction I will be pretty darn happy! &lt;BR /&gt;

On a side note, my boss mentioned to me to see if you can find out who the figures are within the picture. Seems to be a woman falling from the sun and a man rising from fire. Google isn't helping me with that one!&lt;BR /&gt;

Thanks for the reply, helped me out quite a lot. I've managed to model everything but the figures so far, and got a little (only a little!) stuck again.  &lt;BR /&gt;

I did what you said about laying the picture out in plan and drawing a mesh over it. However, from the little use I have had using meshes I though you couldn't rotate them to be vertical...? Is this the case? I've tried going into section and right clicked and in the move tab all I can do is drag or elevate. No option of rotation. &lt;BR /&gt;
 &lt;BR /&gt;
Any thoughts? &lt;BR /&gt;
