Fascia Modeling Problem

Hi all,
I need a bit of help here, having problem modeling one of the fascia element that goes under a curved roof (which is a complex profile) please see attached sketch. Currently on v15, any help is grealy appreciated.

Srinivas,

You could do this as an object. Use a complex profiled wall. Draw in plan to the elevation curve, then turn it into an object with the side view up.

Hi Erich,
Did the same, and save the wall in plan view then I am trying to add the ROTZ command in the GDL script no luck yet, will try again in the morning at let you know.

Thanks Laszlo, the rake is actually a curved one unlike the straight one in the sample, not an expert with shell here, but I will give it a shot. thank you.

Srivnas,

If getting the rotation is proving difficult, just set your correct view prior to making the object. The rotation will then get added to the object by ArchiCAD.

So, assuming you normally would make the object with a top down view. Use a side view instead.
