topic Are Zones Associated to Walls and When? in Modeling

<T>Hi,
I know if walls are created 1st and a Zone is placed with in them then if walls or the Zones are moved, streched or modified; the Zone Update fits the Zones to the retated walls. Is there other instances this can be accomplished? Any logic behind it? Like, if I put the Zones 1st and then Magic Wand the Zone with Walls.
Thanks,
