Custom Curved Bench?

<T>Hi,

I want to create a curved bench as the library part doesn't seem to be user editable in terms of curvature etc..

I've successfully created a bench using OBJECTiVE, however it looks plastic! As the image shows, the whole bench is one solid piece, I would prefer to have individual wooden pieces. I have an idea of how I can create this, which would be to curve each piece (the seat, the back and the arms) seperatley, but this will be incredibly time consuming and may not work as well I expected.

Thank You.</T>

Complex Profile. The profile can have individual elements each with its own material (each distinct face on a polygon can have its own material). Use with a curved wall.

Yes. Complex Profile. But make a section through the bench to get the profiles of the slats and create the complex structure out of that. Add the bench ends as individual parts.

You can draw a curve or circle and use the magic wand to place the slats along any curve.

Off topic, but an example of such a bench that could be built with a complex profile, as illustrated by Stuart and Steve... Attached photo is of a 100+ year old ferry boat in Kaslo, British Columbia.
