Roof plans - how to remove springline marker?

When you layout a roof, the plan will show the springline with the direction tick. Is there a way to turn off that springline? Or, do I just need to create a new line drawing that copies the roof plan and use that as my "graphic" roof plan.

Make sense??

the toggle is located in the display options.

The spring line does not print. It only shows up in Archicad for reference while you are working.

Carl Ottenstein created a pretty nice little add-on, to toggle: roof pivot lines, true line weights, fill handles (etc.) on and off. There's a Mac version linked somewhere in the thread too.

It's a worry when users want to start turning off valuable info like the roof pivot line. It's probably better to learn the benefits of such a feature rather than disbaling it.

Just by glance at it, you can tell which direction your roof is sloping and where it is measured from. By clicking on it, you can see it's elevation and it's slope, by moving it's ends you can change the direction, and by moving it from the center you can change it's location. All that and it still doesn't plot!
