A materials transparency in elevations is still controlled in the settings of material that is applied to it, not the hatch.

Check in the settings for each individual elevation under the 'model display' section and tick the 'Transparency' option. Objects with a transparent material should now appear correct.

AC12 Material Translucency in Elevations?

<T>Can you get a material's fill to appear with translucency in elevations?
Polygons created are easily made translucent but I am having trouble getting the glass to appear with translucency... Seems that it may not be possible.

I have made sure the glass material's vectoral hatch is a solid (25%).

Thanks</T>

Thanks for the response.

I am not trying to get transparency though.

I was trying for the new translucency option for solid fills in AC12.
I am guessing that it doesn't apply to material fills in elevation, just polygon fills. Just thought it could be interesting.
