<T>Hey All.
We have been working with great success up until now by splitting up our projects into several smaller files, and then placing them together into one file to use for plotting.
Yesterday we started to get the error message when updating the external drawings, something to the effect that it cannot update the drawing, and then it shows the location of the view that it was unable to update.
Any ideas on how to help?</T>

Exact quote of the error.
"external drawing update
"external drawing update updating process has failed."
"error while opening project file"

Perhaps a Drawing status warning or library loading warning is interfering with the process. Try opening the external file first (in addition to the host file) - then proceed with the update.
