When i draw a wall in archicad i can see it, but after i have moved wall in 3D on top of the slab so it disappear in plaln drawings. I don't know what is the problem.
Here is a pic from my work The pic shows wall on slab, but the wall is actually under the slab. So i have to move it up in 3D. I would appreciate any help
Homayon,

Sounds like a cut plane issue. You cannot see the wall because the cut plane on the story you are looking at in floor plan is below or above the wall now that you have moved it.

Either change your cut plane or move to the appropriate story to view the wall correctly. If the wall should indeed be listed on a new story you will need to change that in the wall settings.
Hoyamon,

Another possibility: You might need to change the display order in your floor plan. Right click on the slab and under the <S></S>Display Order<E></E> sub-menu click <S></S>Send to Back<E></E>.

Another way to access the display order is in the <S></S>Edit<E></E> menu.
Hello.

May i ask what is a cut plan ? because when i move the wall upwars, så it disappear from all secctions. May be its because of cutplan. but how can i remove the cut?

and by the way, i forgot to say that i am working with a urban design projekt with a really larege landscape. Do you think that it is because of contour lines ? the height defference is 5 m and there is 10 lines. and section start at -3000.

Thank you a lot for answering.

The Floor Plan Cut Plane (FPCP) is the level at which your floor plan is deemed to be cut through the model horizontally, and is set in Document> Floor Plan Cut Plane or your View Settings, usually relative to the current story. If your wall is entirely above this plane and is set to "Projected" it will not display on your current floor plan view.

If this is the issue, and you have walls at very different levels and want to see them all you can change their Floor Plan Display (in the walls' settings) to "Symbolic Cut" and they will show up no matter where your cut plane is set.
