      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;I draw a simple spline, with 4 dots&lt;BR /&gt;
When I offset that spline,  new one has almost 50 dots!&lt;BR /&gt;
why?&lt;BR /&gt;
can i control it?&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

Offset of spline works on the following way:&lt;BR /&gt;
First the spline is transformed to a polyline, then the polyline will be offset, and transformed back to a spline.&lt;BR /&gt;
That’s why it has more nodes after offset.&lt;BR /&gt;

I guess this has technological reasons for working this way.</description>
