If you have a lot of complex beams (thousands of them) and their layer has the same intersection priority as the walls, slabs and meshes this can slow things down considerably. I've run into this on large structural models. Of course this is because the beams essentially perform automatic SEOs on the other elements.</description>

I would use a combination of Complex Profiles and Solid Element Operations (SEO's) to achieve this type of structure.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
MAybe you could post an image of where you can get to in ArchiCAD and i'll try and walk you through the rest of it.&lt;BR /&gt;

I believe you are right about the house being done in AC9. As I recall Michel told me the curves were modeled with slabs and saved as library parts.&lt;BR /&gt;

I worked with Michel on the Nestlé project. This one had been completed by the time we met.</description>

In AC there is only one type and that is the quaterly divided circle. &lt;BR /&gt;

As far as I know Michel uses ArchiCAD on all his projects.</description>

I don't know for sure on this one but I would use spherical library parts and SEOs. At least for the preliminary modeling anyway.</description>
