I am currently using Archicad 14 and i am still very new at this, anyways i would like to please ask users that are more experienced about to create free-flowing organic and twisting forms like Frank O. Gehry's Walt Disney Concert Hall or even the Mobius Strip. I am an architecture student and i am using Archicad for my design.
thank you very much</T>

Try using the basic shapes in combination with your own materials and solid element operations. (see images)

I find that by using this combination of tools along with lateral thinking and some of your own materials, there is virtually nothing you cannot make using ArchiCAD.

Basic Instructions on how to use this are in the User Manual. I have attached an example of some of the work some students have done in this way.

Alternatively you could look up either the TOOTH object described here:

<LINK_TEXT text="http://www.archicadspringacademy.com/Ar ... /Tooth.pdf">http://www.archicadspringacademy.com/ArchiCAD_Spring...files/Tooth.pdf</LINK_TEXT>

or the OBJECTIVE object which is I believe free for student use.

Yes, OBJECTiVE is free for educational use. Download here.

OBJECTiVE is the best tool in ArchiCAD in my opinion. If it wasn't available to me, then I probably wouldn't even use ArchiCAD. I've also had a go at free-form structures, in fact that was my first structure in ArchiCAD. With OBJECTiVE and the help from this forum I've been able to achieve great results and still enjoy learning the possibilities with the use of OBJECTiVE.

I would also like to thank Ralph Wessel for his support and help over the past year or so, since OBJECTiVE belongs to his company (I believe) his education on the tool is very extensive and informative. I thank you greatly for this.
