you will need to use "Attribute Manager" to bring the information from one file to another. Under the Options Menu->Elements Attributes

<T>Hi, I have recently upgraded from ArchiCAD 13 to ArchiCAD17. Does anyone know how to export the Layers and layer combos from archicad 13 and bring them into archicad 17?

Also, I think I was able to successfully bring the pensets from archiCAD13 to Archicad 17 by opening up the organizer and transferring masters from a file in archiCAD13 into my current ArchiCAD file.</T>

Save an Attribute Manager File (*.aat) from the Attribute Manager in AC13 and open them in the Attribute Manager in AC17. This should work for layers, layer combos and pensets.

Cheers,
