A good solution for large quantities of text is to create it in your favorite word processor, then save that file as a PDF and then place the PDF in the drawing. What is nice about this is your get the features of a word processor and when you update the source file and re-save it as a PDF, AC will automatically update the placed drawing without your input.

If you do not have a word processor, download the OpenOffice suite from www.openoffice.org
