1 how do i get rid of that stupid + in the corner of all the text blocks???

and 2 why has the stretch symbol in the pet pallet changed to a move symbol??? iv noticed lots of little stupid changes like this

item 1: don't think can be gotten rid of, but can hide/switch off with text handles switch in View>Onscreen View Options.
I also found it annoying initially, however am getting used to it and actually finding it useful as an indicator of text block anchor selection.

item 2:which situations/tools this is occuring in?;

when particular library items are stretchable.. like the showers in the attachment. its no biggy. but its dumb that someone went to the effort to actually change it for no reason.. and to a symbol that dosnt indicate what its does like the original did

The associated 'tool tip' that appears when you hover over that location seems to have changed from 'stretch' in V12 to 'move node' in V13, so that may explain the change in icon; i agree with you though, this seems to be a gratuitous change that doesn't actually improve the function or clarity of use.

Not trying to steal this thread, but I have one quick question too. Has anybody any idea, why now there are two windows for dealing with storeys; one for creating and deleting and one for moving or copying elements between them. Why split one command into two separate, without adding one bit of new functionalities. Or am I missing something?

This might be a consequence of the new TeamWork: to separate functions so they can be more easily controlled by user privileges. A similar reorganization happened to the Project Preferences for that reason.
