When I switch to the simple projects strange behavior stops...
I run AC 14 on a old machine...time for new hardware has come!

Your CPU/RAM being hogged by another program?

Is this an intermittent problem or a constant one?

No other app running, so it must be AC or Windows...
It is happening sometimes, more often when I edit an element

I believe they've brought back "Available Physical Memory" to AC 14 status bar. What does it show?

If memory is, indeed, the problem you might want to look at this page too.

I have got the strangest workaround for you:
turn the buttons Guidelines, Special Snap Points and Tracker off one by one. Then turn them on again one by one.
I found out by the equivalent of ramming onto your keyboard: checking every button on the screen. Then I found out something solved the issue, then narrowing the buttons and these 3 remain, but more importantly . . . did it solve your problem?

hello have you looked into the autosave option? Sometimes its timeperiods are extreme narrow. May that be the problem?
