topic ArchiCAD 15 Renovation Palette Missing in Modeling

<T>I have a custom work environment set up. The Renovation palette does not appear in the Window/Palettes list. If I do a New and Reset, it shows up in the list. Do I have to re-do my custom work environments in ArchiCAD 15 to get the Renovation Palette to show up, or is there a way to add it in Options/Work Environment?

Thank you.</T>

Yes you either need to add your own custom settings to the default 15 work Environment or use your 14 one and add the new features of 15.

Either way what I do is open 2 copies of Archicad.
Load the default WE in one and your custom 14 WE in the other.

Then you can switch between them and compare the differences.
Which one you adjust doesn't matter - just save it as a new 15 WE.
As Barry says....

The installation note says it all, but if your like me (and I know I am) ... too enthralled to get it up and running to read the "fine print".

Thanks Barry and Marc,

Yes, I missed that note during installation. Do either of you know where in the Options/Work Environment this can be accomplished? I have not been able to find an indication of how to add palettes to the Palette Menu, but I'll keep looking.

I always recommend NOT bringing forward Custom Work Environments from previous versions for one reason only. You don't get all the new features.
I know of users who have been completely unaware of new features simply because they are still using WE's from previous versions.
I am a great supporter of the Standard WE and the Australian version has the No button checked by default.
