You don't say what version of Archicad you are using.
Please add details to you signature in the PROFILE link at the top of the forum.

If you are using 16 or 17 then you can convert it to a Morph and freely rotate it any way you want.
You will also find it easy to edit as a Morph.

Do you know there is a Truss Maker in the Design > Design Extras menu?
I'm not saying it is good or will do what you want but it is there.
Look up in HELP how to use it.

Also you may find a few truss objects ready made in the library - maybe one of those is suitable?
Umm a slab can't be rotated: it's always "parallel" to the ground, or the horizontal plane.

I believe you're trying to model the roof sheathing? If that's so, you shouldn't use the slab tool, use the roof tool. You can define your own composite, i.e. 1/2" Shingles + 5/8" Plywood, and place it on top of the roof trusses. See this video on how to define a composite. <S></S>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6kuMxyr4DY<E></E>
. Although it's for ArchiCAD 17, and you might be using earlier versions, it'll still work for you.

I suggest you use the section view or elevation, because it's easier to place the roof accurately. See attachment on how I did it. Good luck
