Maybe the beam tool could help you (using, of course, the inclined type and a custom profile for its cross section).&lt;BR /&gt;

Take a look at &lt;A href="http://www.encina.co.uk/objective.html" target="_blank"&gt;OBJECTiVE&lt;/A&gt;. In addition to a tool for 3D rotation, you can freely cut the steel beams in 3D.  It is bundled with a steel library that is more 3D aware, and can also be bent to curves in 3D.</description>
