<R>I would like to know, if this project can be made in ArchiCAD:

http://www.zechner.com/project.php?lang=EN&id=dolder

I am aware of the fact that renderings have been additionally edited in Photoshop, but the thing I am interested in, is the facade (curtain wall).

Can facade be made with all these strips and intersecting lines in ArchiCAD?

Thank you.</R>

Yes, you can model it in archicad. Not generatively (does this word exists?) as in generative design but manually, placing elements one at a time.

Thank you for the replies, both of you.
Can you please give me a hint, of how can this be done in Archicad?

I tried by making these strips from walls, and then modifying the angle of the wall, but in that way, I am getting only straight strips (angled, but straight - vertical).

Any help please?
Thank you.

One method is using SLAB with openings, then viewed in 3D window (Front View, azimuth 90°), and saved as object. This object is inserted in plan and then assigning a slope with the object Rotator.gsm!

Another way to do it:
Create each side of the curtain wall as a profile and save it in the complex profile manager, then use it with the wall tool. This method will also give you the correct projection of the curtainwall on each floor plan view.

How can I save slab as an object?
Can you name the application menu steps (File->Libraries and Objects->New object?) ?

Look in 3D Projection settings!
You must see your element from the TOP; then select it and save as object!

I´m developing a gdl tool (medusa) that i think can do that, here are a little tutorial:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=qc3yvc1vuaM
and a object to rotate anything in any direction:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=qv3XcSqwX-A
A example:

NO, it is an Object used to rotate other objects. You can download it free from here:
