In the Dimension Settings > Dimension Details > have you checked Dimension only to the Core of Walls and Slabs?

<T>I am using the 2x4 framing + 5/8" Gypsum board composite wall, per-defined in the AC17 residential template. I notice that whenever I place dimensions, it always marks the thickness of the wall as 3'-1/2", which is the correct dimension for the 2x4 wood framing, but not the actual wall thickness. How to I place the little circle things on the outside face of the wall? They always go to the inside core.</T>
