Hotfix-5 for ArchiCAD 12 (build2675)

Dear AC-Talkers,

Hotfix-5 is now available for INT, AUS, NZE, AUS localized versions of ArchiCAD 12. You can download the Hotfix through the Help menu/ Check for Updates command. You can find a list of fixed bugs in the Release Notes.

I attempted to install the Hot Fix 5 three times today and each time the installation failed. Has anyone else had this problem?

Are you trying to install it with ArchiCAD still open perhaps?

Yes, I closed AC before installing. I followed the instruction on the read me first page. I even downloaded the fix a second time and tried it again. It got to the 63% mark on the install, then it flashed a message that the install had failed.

Greg doesn't mention that this is for the US version. Could that be an issue?

I am using the US version. I notice that everyone that has replied are using a windows version.

No one is teamworked...and of course from the release notes:

Mac OS X Leopard (10.5) users - installation troubleshooting: The installer should run normally for the vast majority of users. If the installer cannot complete the update process, then there is likely a problem with the access permissions for the files in your ArchiCAD 12 application folder. Make sure that you are installing from an administrator account and have Read/Write permission to all files installed in the ArchiCAD folder. This includes all third party add-ons and libraries.

But if you go Help -> Updates it will take you to the page were you can download the US version.

I'm downloading my 105MB hotfix now @ 23.1 Kb per second. Come on GraphiSoft you can do better than this.
