<T>Am doing wall siding with lap siding above and panel siding below. Panels will have either exposed reveals or exposed trim between. Would there be a way to model the seams / reveals?</T>

Not sure how that would work. That would put a slice through the whole wall. And how would you create a grid?

The niche would become one reveal. You can adjust the size to be really thin, long, and as deep as the reveal

Custom Profiles. Use one at a time, or multiple reveals in one profile if they are regularly spaced throughout the project. If you use beams they are automatically cut from the wall surface (and then you can turn their layer off if you want, the cut remains)

Use columns and beams and put them on a hidden layer. The reveals are cut automatically (no SEOs required). Just make sure the intersection priorities are set correctly (elements and layers).

Oh I like the custom profiles idea. Now I am thinking I might make a grid opject and then just SEO into the wall where needed.
