1. Extract a Container.....in your case AC14 Library.lcf in a new folder on disk
2. Find a Window Marker....Object Library 14\1. BASIC LIBRARY 14\1.7 2D Elements 14\Marker Symbols 14\W Marker 14.gsm
3. Make a copy of it and rename it
4. Open that copy with 3NF GDLScripter (it´s quite an old program), change the GDL code
5. Save the modified Marker

<T>Hi, my question is how can I remove the space between numbers when making a window marker. For example: I want 1000 x 2000 to be 1000x2000. and I want the text to be thinner.

Is there a custom window marker can be download or made? Thx guys.</T>

I believe this is a system setting.
In the regional Settings in Windows, you need to change the thousands separator.
After that you will need to restart ArchiCAD, if I remember correctly, for the changes to take effect.

Edit: Sorry, I misunderstood your question.
So, the answer is: I believe you would have to modify the script of the Marker element to change that display format.

So, could anyone please tell me where I can find the marker element, and how to open it to edit? I tried looking at the folders and the library manager but not found anything. Does anyone know? Thanks

erickjw:

Use the Open Object by Subtype... command, then navigate to Drawing Symbol > Marker > Window-Door(-Skylight) Marker to find the marker you want to modify. It is best to Save As... a copy of the marker with a new name so the original one is retained.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
The problem with copying and renaming the object in the Finder/desktop is that the GUID will not get changed, leading to duplicate/missing object issues, see the GUID topic in the ArchiCADWiki.
I worked on it for a while, now is the problem:

1. I open the window marker's script in both AC and 3NF GDLScripter but I can't understand the GDL code so I cant make the change I want...

2.I try to load the new Cadimage DW Marker.gsm in the Window Selection Setting dialoug box. But it tells me the selected file is not a Window Marker File

Is there anyone who knows how to make the script and load it correctly?

Many thanks.
