Window showing on both floors

I actually need my window to show up on the main floor and 2nd floor, (its in a stairwell). I saw it asked here and solved before but after 30 minutes I couldn't find it the old question on the forum.

Can anyone help?

Well... you could use renovation filters to get rid of other building components, and then simply use the trace reference.

I normally make a 2 story wall for that section of wall, set it to "All Relevant Stories" and then insert my window which will now show up on both floors.
