Rise and Run not accurate

I have a set of stairs and in the stair editing panel of the stair selection settings it shows a rise of 7 1/2" and run of 9 1/2", but the text displayed on the stairs is rise 8" run 9". what do i do to make them match?

One place to check is Project Preferences > Dimensions > Linear Dimensions.

Thanks, but i have fractions selected. anyone from Graphisoft?
