<T>We are fairly new with ArchiCAD 11 and work a lot with Multi residential buildings. As an example, with a condo with say 10 identical floors, is there a way to draw one typical floor and get Archicad to make multiple copies for each floor?</T>

Hi,
You build one typical floor and save it as a separate file. This file can be .mod or .pln format

Then create a new file, set stories and using hotlink module to "plug" your typical floor into it.
File>External Content>Hotlink Modules.....

Good luck
Cheers
