Render issue?

<T>Hi, I'm having some difficulties seeing a 3D picture of a series of portals I am constructing. At some point the portals vanish into thin air in the 3D window, while they are still there in the floor plans. Is it something in the settings I need to adjust or am I missing something else? Any tips are appreciated?

I'm using archicad 11 on a mac.

Thanks,

Peter de Ruijter

P.S. I'm attaching a jpg of what I'm seeing. Some beams don't completely vanish, other are completely gone. The dimension of the beams are height 500 mm, width 100mm. In some cases I only see a surface in the 3D window and not the 100mm width of the beam. ..... strange....</T>

Check to see if you have duplicate beams occurring in the same spot. Archicad tends not to like that kind of alternate reality.

Thanks Ted,

I had some wall elements of different proportions, however also in this parallel patern, in a hidden layer. I removed these, and now it shows perfectly!

Thanks a lot.
Ted, Check to see if you have duplicate messages occurring in the same thread.
