<T>Corner windows & skylights are two 'tools' not showing up. However, when I try to upload them in the plug-ins manager I get this reply: corner windows not up-loaded, can only be up-loaded into archiCAD from start.
What's this about? How do I get the corner windows tool active?
Rather urgent.
many thanks</T>

It seems like these tools were already loaded with my copy of AC. Put the plug-in's in the AC "addons" folder and they will load automaticly when you start AC. Good luck!

a window in each wall of a corner seems to do something similar

do a "new and reset"

they should then be showing up as fly-outs from the door/window tool (can't remember which shows by default).

if they don't show, my guess is something isn't installed correctly and you'll have to do a clean install of archiCAD.

for what it's worth, i'm with john - i don't think that you're missing much: they are quite temperamental, and require a lot of fiddling to get right. be careful after making changes to them too - they often break back into two windows if a parameter is slightly arwy!
