I have found that the majority of bizarre behavior happens in TW. Usually, someone going in with exclusive access is the fix. Also, clearing the TW preferences can help -- if all else fails, save as a PLN and re-share the project.

Linked Section Marker PROBLEM!

<DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"><T>There are three of us working in teamwork on a project. One person has an exterior elevation in their workspace. He placed a linked section marker in the elevation referencing a section, and then he went back to change the settings (font, etc.) and he couldn't do anything. It's not like it's locked, we made sure it wasn't. The "ok" button is grayed out like it's not in his workspace. It's a #$%@ linked marker and has no workspace, correct? If you have the elevation in your workspace you should be able to change the settings, correct? He also has the section that the linked marker is referencing in his workspace, and it still is no good. Any ideas what's going on??? It seems as though no one can change the settings. We have not tried to go in as one person with exclusive access to change it, but we shouldn't have to...</T></DIV>

please remember that if you reshare the project CHANGE THE NAME otherwise it will pick up the old prefs on each client machine and you will have solved nothing. Why TeamWork creates local, file specific prefs on each machine I have no idea..... causes so many problems
