After a bit of fiddlying about trying various combos it would seem its because the fill for the complex profile included some curves. Once I removed the curves the SEO worked.

A tad annoying the manual doesn't say don't use curves and or the SEO doesn't let you

As you were it isn't the curves in fat it is the wall priority. The multi storey wall had a priority of 4 and the complex profile wall had a priority of 2. Made them both the same now all is well

<T>I have two walls, one wall is a multi-storey wall and the other is a complex profile. When I do a solid element operation with the complex profile being subtracted with upwards extrusion from the multi-storey wall, nothing happens .

Any ideas or has anyone else hit this problem?</T>
