I don't have enough experience with the curtain wall to know if my solution is better or not, but using the complex profile in a wall tool has certain adaptability, editing and detailing advantages. This solution uses two separate profiles, one based in the shape of the other. The blocky version does the uprights and the other the muntins and glazing.

Since the complex profile fill section allows for adding all kinds of flashings and details, the result can be more accurate than the curtain wall tool. <S>[i think]</S>.

To learn more about complex profiles, see this wonderful article from Eric Bobrow:Complex Profile

Remember that any profile can have numerous material surfaces within it, so , using this feature, my profiles have both the white and the glass, as appropriate.

The one for the vertical elements is a single material drawn as a wall to the WIDTH of the vertical element.

The one for the glass and muntins is drawn along the wall direction, defining the top flashing/terminus and the sill. The profile can be very complicated -close to what the actual technical drawing requires.

I use different fill colors to show different materials

I accomplished this with 2 Curtain Walls and 2 Solid Element Operations (Operators are slabs shown as wire frame), another approach.
No need to use complex profiles or rotate any curtainwalls neither SEOs,

Its quite easy to acomplish with curtainwall in a section window,

1. just create a section that where your curtainwall should start (where you would create a section to detail the "L shped curtain wall),
2.open the section and use the curtaiin wall to draw the "L shaped profile" in chained geomtry method,
3. Finetune your curtainwall´s transoms and mullions (with the scheme settings),
4. Strech the scheme in 3D edition mode if necessary.

And you can even set the doors inside the curtain sytem.

It is a curtain wall that I drew in plan view with an angled leg, then I opened it in 3D view and rotated it so that the angled portion was on top.

@lardizabal, That is much easier to do it it section, I never even thought of that. It's great to learn new ways to do things. Thanks!
